Being pale attractive?

is being pale attractive? because Im german and pretty pale, but i guess i dont have much melanin because my other features are pretty light too. All my friends never put sn tan lotion on because they want to attract guys, and they think it makes u look hot. i know everyone is different but i have seen lots of guys go for tan girls.
