Sat studying help and tips please answer!!?

so i am a 10th grader going into 11th grade/ yr1 college ( technically college because I attend bard high school early college ) so basically its going to be a challenging year, so over the summer i was wondering if i should go to an expensive sat program, get a job and make money, or just buy sat prep books and study on my own. I also want to know if i buy some sat books would I benefit at all? also i really want a job because if i don't ima wear the same clothes and ima feel bummy >.< i need some help please answer
