Is This A Good Beginning For My Book?

I believe this is a fairly written story. But when I read and write books, I tend to notice a few details. The first one I would like to point out is, when writing the beginning of a story, make sure you use full description at the beginning. No one is going to know who this person is known as "I", and I know it is good to use first person, but make sure you also tell who the character is.
