Help scratching problems?

How do I get my cat to stop scratching my woodwork? Please do not tell me to buy a scratch pole, pad, toys, catnip, post, I have tried this and even washed my wood work with vinegar and bleach etc. I can't disapline with a spray bottle of water because I work all day and the cat is alone. I can't put any sticky stuff on the woodwork because the cat would only rub against it and then I'd have a hair problem sticking there. What can I do? I have to keep repairing all my door frames and I am tired of this. Help answer's only. Last I refuse to declaw and the cat is 10 years old.
