Belichick is still a Genius and he knew what the lasting implications were if?
I was very upset at Bill, until I regained my rational thoughts. Now how would it look if Manning had ridden the Pats down the field, as he previously did minutes before, thrice, and scored. In fact the Pats defense kept the Cults to 14 points up to the end of the 3rd quarter and 21 at 13 minutes in the fourth--the Pats defense was worn out, and this was the only leverage that the Cults had. This is in fact a well known strategy of the Cults when facing their opponents, and this is why Brady lit-it-up in the first, second, and third. Anyway, Bill knew his boys were not going to stop Manning throught out the fourth, with so many minutes to go. The Cults did not beat the Pats, the Pats had beaten themselves at the unforgiving loss at the one-yard line and penalties. That was what started the bleeding. So, I say Bill should be Bill, and his decision making ability is what won the Pats three Championships in six years. The Pats are going to the Super Bowl, and they have the weapons, as demonstrated, to dominate.
