Attacks by violent gangs in the UK on increase?

I myself have been attacked 4 times , 3 times in a university campus and once whilst on a motorcycle in a sidestreet,.....each time these people i could identify as being of Pakistani/Asian appearance......what is going on? why is this happening? each occasion these attacks on my person were totally unprovoked.....i dont even know these people. has anyone else any experience of such occurences?
